Welcome to the 8th Annual Art in Bloom Festival!  On behalf of the entire city of Medford, I invite you to join us in this springtime celebration of fine arts and flowers.

The streets of downtown are filled with fascinating sights and sounds as it hosts thousands of people during this two-day visual arts, entertainment and cultural event.  Recognized as the “Best Art, Cultural or Heritage Event in Oregon for 2004” by the Oregon Festivals and Events Association, the Art in Bloom Festival continues to attract northwest artists and art enthusiasts alike.
Art in Bloom hits downtown Medford on May 10 and May 11, 2008. For a detailed map and list of events, workshops and demonstrations, click here.

Educational Outreach

Art education is one of the chief goals of Art in Bloom, and over the course of this year the not-for-profit organization has funded art projects at North, South, & Phoenix.

South Medford’s art students are currently decorating smudge pots. One student has even turned their smudge pot into Medford’s historical Black Bird located on W. Main St.

North Medford’s art students are producing individual tiles depicting faces to be part of an enormous mural located on their high school campus.

At Phoenix high school, the art students are creating a tile sculpture modeled off of a famous artist’s work. The sculpture will eventually join a pond and landscaped area designed by the students that will enhance a quad area on campus.

The students’ art will be on display at the Festival this year in the Educational Outreach tent.
