The event also features live entertainment, great food, beer & wine tasting, children’s art tent, brought to you by Lithia Motors, a chalk art creation, a fashion show, lemonade stands and more. The Medford Arts Commission and Central Art Supply will be sponsoring Phil Ortega’s graffiti art program new to the event this year. For the second year in a row the Southern Oregon chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) will be holding the 2nd Annual People’s Choice Design awards at 313 Middleford Alley during the Festival so make sure you stop by and vote for your favorite.

Art in Bloom will also offer a special beer, wine and food tasting event from 12 – 4pm Saturday and 12 – 3pm on Sunday. Over 15 local wineries, beers and artisan foods will be providing tastes. Entrance fees are $10 per person and include a commemorative glass and four tastes. Additional taste tickets may be purchased. The event is sponsored by Pallet Wine Company and Havana Republic.

Saturday night, Art in Bloom will hold its first family-friendly BBQ from 5 – 9pm. Live music will fill the downtown streets, food vendors will offer delicious BBQ style cuisine and a beer garden will be available for those ages 21 and over.
